Words

People are too concerned with words,

Needing to be free like birds,

What makes or breaks a person is just another person,

You need to be you, not just another version,

Look around and see everything, not just the good or the bad,

But take for yourself what you wish you had.

Not a Boy

I don’t really like all-boys schools.

Mainly because I am not a boy.

I’m expected to act like and hang with boys,

but what if I’m more like the girls?

I get called a young man, and I hate that a lot

because that is not who I am.

I’d like to be friends with more of the girls, but there’s none in my school.

Now I have to conform to the boys’ rule.

Mix

I’m a mix of calm and quiet thought,

Creative when I feel but not always caught.

I don’t rush, I don’t race,

I take things slow, at my own pace.

Kind when I can, steady when I must,

I think things through, but don’t over-trust.

Adventure calls, but not too loud,

I follow where it leads.

Not too much, not too little, just me,

Somewhere in between, where I’m free.

Life

Love and compassion mixed together,

And people think it’s for the better.

Reality hits and things turn random,

Rearing people into anything but freedom.

Yet to realize all this life may blossoms.

Brave

Being 16 I shouldn’t fear goodbyes

But sometimes I see it in their eyes

The tired look in their smile.

The way they laughter will fade in a while

I count my beats at night alone

Pretending that I’m brave and strong

If love could stop their loss

I will never let them fall

Apple Juice

from throwing books in class

to going home were the pressures last

so, the apple juices keep flying

bouncing off the walls, barely trying

science next, we can’t be bothered

2 more detentions and bad notes smothered

I can’t finish

Untitled

This shit is mad even though it’s sad

Just cause you don’t like being slagged

Means you ain’t even a real man

I just don’t want to end up in the can

Like my big man

Thought he was my role model

But that’s just a lie when there is so many others

You can look up to in life

This is life only one shot

So, make this shit count

Untitled

I go to school which I sleepwalk through

waiting for it to end so I can go out with my friends

and after all that I go back to sleep

or go watch telly with my family on the tv

I go back to school with now my notebook

which had attorned to be without my notes in it

I get in trouble and have to re-do,

What I already knew.

I find the work pointless

But I have no choice in it

and now I’ve been given another load of work

which has no point in it

We are the boys

we are the boys from Dalymount and when this match is over we are going to have a fight and follow Bohs all over from Kazakhstan to Amsterdam we are going abroad we are going abroad un dia de partit or match day they might say

A Fire in the Night

I saw a fire in the night

It burned a powerful light

I grasped it and it guided my way

however, it had a price to pay

The fire burned and promised fame

but I didn’t see the destructive pain

The flame was fuelled by want and desire

But it was too late when I saw that I was also fuel for the fire

I had to let go of the flame

I was left burned and with shame

It took me too long

but I saw that hope was not gone

I climbed out of my pit of shame

and made a new fire that was mine to claim

This one was fuelled by hope and belief

It will be the fire that shall save me from grief

Change

For being treated like kids to having a laugh with a teacher

Always being chased for pointless things

Oh miss can I go to the toilet?

going from freedom in summer

to Bring kept in a concrete box

Football

Football – more than a sport,

It takes you to court,

Life is very short,

Stadiums are a fort.

Time

Kai Havertz, Arsenals number 29,

All we had to do was give you time,

At first you might not have been the best,

But now you show pride wearing the crest,

From late nights in Anfield,

to back home at the emirates,

King kai 29, will always be mine.

apples and bananas

I like apples they are a good fruit

they are the same colour as my football boot

I like bananas they smell nice

they are my favourite smell except for whiskey on the ice

I like Kelleher more

because he saves peons for

cr7 Mbappé and Fernandes

this reminds me of bananas

Football Heaven

Oh Darwin Nunez, Liverpools number nine.

No matter where you go, you will always be mine.

From a young beginner

To a premier league winner

The chaos that you brought

Will never be forgot

With a ponytail in your hair

and a certain type of flare

From two goals of seven

He was football heaven

The winner in Nottingham

That header was like a battering ram

Oh Darwin Nunez you will forever be mine

all you needed was a bit of time

Nokia

Were from the bottom’s shops where smoking on a cali spilf and dancing on people’s head and jockeying down past the fauasgh shops where the only way you fit in by standing with hand in your jocks with a Nokia in your pocket.

Not

not a slag not a shag

can’t cry cant fight

too good for bad

too bad for good

Very impressive

Not expressive
