Art & Animation Summer Camp for Teens at Salthill Knocknacarra GAA Club, Galway – Week 2

Designed specifically for creative teens ready to take their art to the next level, this immersive camp dives deep into a wide range of visual storytelling techniques and contemporary art practices. Each day brings new challenges and fresh opportunities to explore, experiment, and express.

Campers will build skills in animation and comic art, learning the foundations of visual narratives and character-driven storytelling. They’ll step into the world of claymation, designing and animating their own mini stop-motion films, and delve into video game concept art, crafting environments, creatures, and heroes straight from their imagination.

Teens will also design and bind their own illustrated books, create dramatic masks and character designs, and develop unique works using watercolour, ink, and digital media. With a focus on personal style and creative voice, they’ll explore printmaking techniques and mixed media compositions that push boundaries and encourage bold artistic choices.
