Shallow Bay

In between the shallow bay,
A little boy lay.

His eyes were puffy and red,
In the local school uniform.

All of a sudden our eyes had met,
I had no thought to judge him
because I know we are all going through something.

Flowers

Flowers are many
None are like one
There beauty is in deference
But they stand as one
Under the same sun
See the same sky
Hear the same sounds
All the time
But they don’t show emotion
Dont judge or slag
They won’t attack or fight
They’ll sit and let time
Float by

Humanity are many
None are like one
There beauty is in deference
We don’t stand as one
Under the same sun
We see the same sky
Hear the same sounds
All the time
But we show emotion
We judge and slag
We attack and fight
We explore and take
And I don’t know why.

What’s the real difference?
Shape?
Size?
Why cant we be friendly
We need a real change
I want to be me
But I cant be seen.

Star Gazing

From the cave to a rave,
Throw a dime catch some shade,
Life is hard but even harder without brain,
See I believe that a lot of people have no heart,
Push you down till your reaching for the stars.

Masculinity

Male masculinity overpowers us in this day and age,
Its not common to be sensitive or gay,
i believe be these things you are very extremely brave,
Although in many places it is frowned upon,
As most men would rather fight in the Octagon,
But to believe is to achieve in this day and age,
So be who you are and dont be afraid!

Te Be a Man

The world of a man is different today,
It’s okay to be colored, stupid or gay
But 70 years ago if you were gay
Your life would be dull with shades of black or grey,
It’s the same with colored if you weren’t white,
Your life was worthless, brutal spite,
But the world has progressed so much today
You can be these and that’s ok
Our world has progressed and it is great
That we don’t have to deal with hate.

Courage

In todays society we’re told
we have to be tough,
but I disagree.

People think it’s more manly
if I don’t open up.
Thanks God for my friends
that they’re not like this,
I can be myself
there’s no judgement.

Set Up

We are all set on tearing each other apart,
Even though we all beat the same heart,
The times needs to change
in this messed up world
Where everyone can just walk tougher
with saying a mean word

These Halls

I walk through the halls
Raging and seething
I walk through the door
Where thoughts lose all meaning
I walk through the river
My humanity still bleeding
I walk through the dark
To stop my myself drowning

Deception

I start the game as a sub
Play lamentable and not focused
Only play a few minutes
Don’t show the coach what you’re worth
Regretting, shame, anger
A week later another game
Coach plays you
You do your best and although you played good
The team didn’t played well enough
He won’t start you again

Out

As much as I hide it,
The truth to be bias,
It’s hard to say, but as I pray,
I hope people don’t look at me differently,
but it’s not girls I like
but the opposite gender.

Man

My name is Man,
I don’t care about fame,
Some think it’s important,
I think that’s slightly lame.

People acting hard,
to get some action,
Just to get satisfaction,

Some start fights,
While others hurt feelings,
I don’t know how some people find that appealing.

Yesterday’s Fool

WISDOM IS DECEITFUL, NOT HEARTLESS
Everyone, my family, me,
we are told what to believe and what to think from day to day,
To the last beat of or heart and the breath of our body.
And everyone yesterday is a fool today, until the information today is a fool tomorrow, the circle of information and laws of the world.
Be gone! Be gone those whispers of doubt and suffering!
People who preach are the ones misguided themselves,
who teaches and guides others on his path to be who they want them to hear,
and then is a fool of yesterday.
It is what I’ve been told by my family and and teachers, who’s words are full of heart and soul,
but will be fools of yesterday too.

Glantane

The the only place I know
Where I go
During the bright nights,
the lights beam through the parish
and into my mind.

I’ve made a place
for this light in my heart
as my parish treats me right
While others might come and go
I’ll stay here through the light and blight

Contrast

What’s the difference
Between you and me
We are both people
But you can’t see me
For I am a secret
Well never be seen
I can’t see you same way you can’t see me
Our eyes are open
But as blind as ever
Because your different but so am I
Why?

Hard Men

Hard men and fighters
or sad men with lighters
Fighting to be brave,
so they’ll stab and they’ll kick
And they’ll take no skit.
“ah go on take a hit”
Thinking that girls think he’s fit.
He’ll slag and he’ll laugh but he looks like a giraffe.
He wants to be right so he’s willing to fight,
the hard man from next door.

Evolution Exchange

New country, new friends,
This list never ends,
I struggle with the language
I’m far from my family
But after all, the best way to growth
is throw the pain.

New day, New challenges
I’m experiencing daily changes
My vision of the world changed.
And I can only thank all the people,
who pushed me out of my comfort zone.

“Chasing the Boundary”

The bright pitch awaits
under the bright sun.
The batsmen stand sadly
with hope calm
without judgment.
The bowler runs,
the ball, the sound of the willow,
Is the game of skill and luck.

Football

Gaelic football, what a bore,
Same old moves, I can’t take more!
Kicking, passing, it’s all the same,
Where’s the fun? It’s lost it’s name.

Once it thrilled, now it’s a snooze,
I’d rather watch paint dry, no excuse!
Come on, lads, let’s bring it up,
Bring back the magic, fill my cup!

This Too Will Pass

In this world, a world full of sin,
I find myself always lost in the world,
Within thoughts of myself that no one will want to hear.
I’m just waiting to escape the world.

In all my emotions and all my likings,
I have to choose what I think is best for us.
In liking of her strikes a thought:
Am I good enough, or am I the worst?

I hope it becomes easy, and it’s just a wave,
And I pass through it like a wind through the seas.

Ballyclough

The man himself from Ballyclough,
One step wrong and he’ll break your jaw,

But enjoys his bit of straw,
He’s just a crap Richie Macaw,

He drives in multiple land cruisers,
The Ballyclough GAA team are losers,

Is really fond of the huzz,
He’s one of the bruzz.

Wrong Place, Right Time

I got a bone to pick like roses
Why be gone so hopeless so soon
Found a flower that gossip so long
Cant find her tail in the forest no mo

Steady stem but writing cursive
Ready only when the rest is perfect
Trying to branch and be excursive
But can’t find a leaf that’ll be “so worth it”

Branch and branch they all go break
Like the branches she can’t find a break
Like the branches she just gon break
On the floor with the leaves and rake

Wind braze, in her face as she flys
Away from the place that made her eyes cry
In the unknown she goes
Where to go? No home.

She finds a tree from the far
Gut feeling, maybe perchance.
Finds a cherry on the ground
In her eyes;perfect, gloss, and round

The bone of the cherry is so broke
Not a bone to break no more
She thought the leaves will give help
But it wasn’t where she really fell.

Swimming

Swimming on Wednesday
Or gone brudairs all day
After school I will lay, in bed
Final Saturday playing in red
We are locked in
Gonna get our blocks in
Put the ball over the bar
Go beeping down main streets tar

The Final Bell

Walk in the doors, for another depress day,
Say hello to the staff just to regret what I say.
The first is always the worst, thats what they say,
But in all honesty I cant agree.
For me its all the same, on hour after the next,
Just waiting for that final bell to let us off.

Edgers and Gooners

Edgers and gooners, from near and from far
All think they’re sigma while in the bar
Slugging back pints with Kai Cenat
After 7 drinks go scavenging for gyatt
At the end of the night when the rizz has been dropped
Knee surgery tomorrow the excitement won’t stop
I lie in bed, the bruzz all gone home
Just for next week, the jelqers will roam…

Brown Envelope

Yup bro’s with girlos
Hard lads smoking hard hitting fags
Smart lads with heart for saying commands
and wanted to lead the marching band
And always will
when that brown envelope
gets into their hand

Seed

Planted a seed its gonna grow
Sun hits hard roots down below
Water it up watch it thrive
Green so fresh its feeling alive.

Take Flight

On the field where
my feet take flight,
kicking the ball day and night.
teammates cheering roaring in joy,
chasing goals to always score,
with every pass and every play,
soccer brings us joy each day

Icy Calm

Hating the cold weather
I wish things were warmer
Always getting sick during the winter
Having to always visit the doctor in Winter
Sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Can’t wait till I get better.
Can’t wait for the better weather.

Can’t wait for the Christmas jingle
Listening to the new christmas songs and singles

I can’t wait.

Who I Am

I am not who I want to be,
I don’t know what to do,
I don’t know what to see,
I am not who I want to be.

I am not who I want to be,
How can I improve,
Is the GAA the key,
Or is it something else I’ve to prove.

I am not who I want to be,
Where should I go next,
Should I visit the sea,
But with whom, I’ve noone to text.

I am not who I want to be,
I really haven’t a clue,
How can I truly be free,
When I am not who I want to be.

Diving

I dived into the pool with glee
onto the pitch with speed
into school with a dream
then into the game with my team
I dived out into the sea
and became the man
who I was meant to be.

The Need for Glory

The skills are a wonder,
It causes such thunder,
He runs riot down the wing,
Showing everyone his raw talent

After all it comes down to one thing ,
It is the one people don’t see,
Hard work is the key

People expect the glory to come,
But without hard work you sound dumb,
Talent can be there but if its not nurtured it will starve
Give it the work, Give it the attention, Give it the time,

Glory will come you just have to work.

Training

The faces on training ground
as you look upon the pitch.
The match brought laughs
as the keeper got s catch.
He fears while the shouts
as his peers there is a scene of scenery
as the sun casts shadows
and towers over the stadium
We ran back while we tracked back
as we have we have another amazing attack
I called for the ball
I stood up tall.

Rugby

It is a game that’s constant
If you are not growing with it,
you get left behind.
You’re not going to please everyone,
but then,
it’s not about pleasing people,
it’s about winning rugby games.

Sport

It’s what I live for, it’s what I do
I’d play all day cause it’s made for me
People don’t believe me because I am small
And everyone else is always tall
Sport is what I live for, it’s who I am.

Mallow

Mallow is a fine spot,
We’ve a few handy shops,
From the Clock house to the dogs mouths,
It’s a town of heritage and tradition,
From Thomas Davis to glistening the Blackwater,
The town won’t disappoint,
There’s always a spot for a pint,
In Mallow you’ll never go dry

Watch

My friends at the back of class
He’s wearing a watch
It’s fairly bad
It’s gold
And it looks fifty years old
But he’s still my friend
At the end of the day.

Broccoli

Counting this broccoli eatin that lettuce in love with the glockenspiel think i got a fettish
stacking this bread got no limit might be 5’6 but im 6ft when standing on my money
t7 here 230 there love me a tractor when im feeling despair
smell of silage to the smell of hay,
keeps me comfort when i have a bad day.

Paper Plane

Life is like a paper plane
you need someone or something
to help you start
and like a plane you will float to
You’re destination
with ups and downs.

Swimming Pool

I’m sat here in school.
Sat on my stool.
Looking all cool.
Dreaming of a swimming pool.

Small Village Man

I’m from a small village
family of 5
living in a bad corner
with a great family
very sporty
into cars.

Friends

I like doing things with my friends
I like being able to trust them
I like being able to play stuff with them and play sports.
I like knowing that they care about me and don’t always laugh at stuff I do wrong
