Stop Motion Animation
Our stop motion animation workshops teaches students the basic physics of animation. It is not just about producing stop motion, but about teaching the tricks that will allow students to create animations that look like real life. Using basic arts materials, these workshops are a hands-on, practical exercise in problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking.
No matter what your learning style and/or artistic ability, these workshops will make you use your brains in ways you never knew you could.

What Skills Will Students Learn?
Our animation workshops develop a rich mix of creative, digital, and interpersonal skills.
Through each project, students learn how to communicate ideas clearly, collaborate as a team, and solve problems creatively — all while working within the set goals and parameters of the workshop.
Storytelling is at the heart of the process, helping to strengthen literacy skills as students explore how to build characters, develop plots, and structure a narrative.
Alongside this, they gain valuable digital and IT skills, from camera techniques to using specialist animation software, giving them hands-on experience that blends creativity with technology.
