ONLINE CREATIVE ART SUMMER CAMPS 2020
KIDS ONLINE CAMP
Date: From July 6th
Age: 8 to 12 year-olds
Time: 10.30am to 2.30pm
The Online Kids Camp is for 8 to 12-year-olds. The programme is very similar to the teen camp, but we start you off at a level that is tailored to their own ability. More advanced workshops are available for every activity they do. The kids camp has more of a fun social element and the day is broken up with games, quizzes and snippets of entertainment.
TEEN ONLINE CAMP
Date: From July 6th
Age: 13 to 18 year-olds
Time: 11am to 3pm
The Online Teen Camp is a variation on our adult courses. It is a place to come to improve your skills and be whoever you want to be. These work for teens of all ability, whether you are just trying it out, or for those looking to prepare a portfolio for art college.
Prices include Inspireland Membership, Craft Pack, Materials and those who sign up will get a free year’s subscription to unlimited online art classes, which you can take part in, anywhere, anytime.
HOW IT WORKS
Artists Pack: We will send all the materials that you need to your door, and then see you online, live from any place you choose. Inspireland Artists Pack will arrive by post 3-5 days before camp starts.
Live Tutorials: Live tutorials will be streamed from 10.30am to 2.30pm every day. Simply login to the members area and follow the instructions. Tutorials will be led by a member of creative team. An artist will always be on hand to look at your work and give you one-to-one help and advice.
Online Members Area: The members area will offer our students a full year of unlimited access to an almost bottomless well of creative treasure. From here they will be able to replay all of the workshops from the live classes along with whole world of additional tutorials and downloadable, printable creative content, such as patterns and wallpapers, style guides, pictures, posters, graphics and anything in the world that we can think of.

OUR CREATIVE TEAM
Stephen Murray is an award winning poet and the founder of Inspireland. He has published two collections of poetry with Salmon Poetry to widespread critical acclaim. He is regarded as Ireland’s leading poetry workshop provider for young people and has delivered workshops to over 50,000 young people in Ireland. His work has featured on Nationwide, RTE TwoTube, TV3, Arena, BBC 2, The Irish Times, the Independent and Hot Press.
- Fine Art, Watercolours, Print & Photography
Annie graduated with a BA Honours in Art in IADT. She specialises in watercolour painting, but also works in acrylic, screen print, performance, and photography. As well as art, Annie is a keen player of games, and is very excited to translate them into a virtual format to make sure every online lesson is as fun as possible!
- Animation, Illustration & Character Creation
Iobhar is an animator and artist. A graduate of the National Film School, IADT, he loves nothing more than telling stories through art- art that puts a smile on someone else’s face. Iobhar will be teaching filmmaking through paper cut out animation, and claymation. He will teach students how to design, draw characters, and then breathe them new characters into life.
- Comic Illustration, Anime & Creative Writing
Somhairle is a proud Donegal man and loves nothing more than to talk about it. A graduate from IADT with a degree in applied psychology and digital design. An accomplished artist, Somhairle’s real passion in illustrating, writing and creating comics. His favourite comics include Calvin & Hobbes, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Gary Larson’s Far Side.
- Advanced Mask Making, Sculpture & 3D Art
Tilly studied sculpture in both IADT, Dublin and at the University of the Arts, Helsinki. Specialising in plaster, her tutorials will demonstrate the foundations as well as the more advanced techniques of mask making. Tilly will also give lessons on how to create fabulous sculptures from the bits and bobs you find lying around your home. She hopes you will join her in exploring the wonderful world of the three dimensional.
- Art Book Making, Graphic Art, Design and Paper Craft
Luke is an artist and graphic designer, who graduated from IADT Graphic Design. He will teach different levels of book making, how to work with colours, creating posters, graphic art, as well as showing you the tricks of crafting with paper. Aside from art and design, he is also passionate about drama, with a love for theatre and acting.

- Film, Animation & Art
Joshua is an animator, film editor and technical whizz. A graduate of the National Film School, he has a passion for bringing art and film together to tell stories. A teacher of drama and musical theatre Joshua’s real passion is teaching young artists to recognise the gifts of creative thinking and self expression that are innate in all of us.
